    With our second location in Watsonville- we now serve communities extending from our old home in Capitola to Watsonville, Gilroy, Salinas, Monterey and all other surrounding areas. Come in and consult with our professional and knowledgeable team to find the right products that suit your needs and lifestyle.   • After your order has been placed and has been prepared, come on down to pick up your order, easily and efficiently. You will need your government issued photo ID and cash in the amount of your order. Your order will be held until closing.

    Picking up in Capitola: Ring the doorbell to let us know you are here and that you’ve placed an online order. We will call you next in line and get you in and out in a jiffy!

    Picking up in Watsonville: Check in at the front door and let our front desk staff know you’ve placed a preorder. Go straight to the sales floor, skip the walk-in line and stand in the preorder line next to the hallway. We will call you next so you can carry on with your day ASAP!

  • The Hook Outlet is proud to be partnered with trusted brands that are able to provide quality: flower, edibles, concentrates, vape cartridges, tinctures, topicals and more! All products go through official testing and pre-approval before hitting our shelves. Plus, local Santa Cruz brands make up 70% of our menu!

  • The prices you see listed on our menu are pre-tax. Upon checkout you will see standard State and Excise tax applied that totals to roughly 29%.

  • We’d love to serve you! To purchase cannabis in the state of California you must 21+ with a valid ID OR 18+ with a valid medical recommendation + ID.

    Notice of Age Restrictions for Medical Cannabis Sales (Specific to our Santa Cruz location ONLY)
    In compliance with local regulations:

    • No one under the age of 19 is permitted on the premises

    • We are only allowed to transact medical cannabis sales to customers aged 19 and 20 during the following:

      • Monday through Friday — after 4:35 PM

      • All day on weekends, national holidays, and scheduled school breaks

    Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. If you find these restrictions as discriminatory and unfair as we do, please feel free to email your thoughts to citycouncil@santacruzca.gov and urge them to amend our conditions of approval and treat us like every other dispensary in the city.

  • A valid “Government Issued ID” is a Driver’s License, Passport, or any official document issued by the government with your information and photo so we can legally confirm your birthday and identity.

  • The legal limit is 1 ounce of flower and 8 grams of concentrates for recreational guests and 8 ounces of flower for medical guests.

  • Infused prerolls are considered “concentrates”, so as a recreational guest, you can legally purchase eight 1g prerolls per day. If you are needing higher daily purchasing limits, we recommend obtaining a medical recommendation.

  • For about $40/year you can obtain a medical recommendation. You will need a basic package but the additional card is not required to purchase medical limits.

  • We do not offer delivery at this moment. You can, however, skip the line in-person by pre-ordering ahead of time!

  • The Hook Capitola is located at 2175 41st Ave. Capitola, CA 95010 in Capitola, right off Highway 1 at 41st Avenue exit, in the brick shopping center across from Pizza My Heart! We are open from 9am – 9pm: every day.

    The Hook Santa Cruz is located at 1129 Mission St. on the West Side of Santa Cruz. Find us on the corner of Mission & Laurel across from The Herb Room. Open daily from 9am – 9pm.

    Our Watsonville location is on 11 Hangar Way, in Watsonville, just off Highway 1 & Airport Blvd. We are open from 9am – 9pm: seven days a week.

  • We are currently cash only and we also have an ATM on each site.

  • Being an outlet, you might notice that products come, go, then reappear on our shelves much later or never again. Don’t trip! We always keep our shelves fully stocked of the good stuff, but if you ever have recommendations of products you love, please let us know and we do our best to stay stocked with your faves.

  • We accept deliveries weekly Monday-Friday 9:30am-4:30pm.

    We do not accept deliveries Thursdays between 11:30am-2pm.
